The space
Heron House features four spacious bedrooms including a spacious first floor master retreat, a second floor master as well as two additional bedrooms.
The master bedrooms both have King beds and ensuite bathrooms while the two additional bedrooms feature Queen beds and share a beautiful bathroom.
The main living space features soaring 15 foot ceilings with stunning floor to ceiling windows overlooking the private pond.
The living room features an 11 foot sofa as well as additional chairs and poufs, perfect for watching movies on the 75 inch smart tv.
The combined living, dining and kitchen area is perfect for spending time together as a group.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need from a coffee station to pots and pans for cooking.
Of course, visiting Muskoka is about spending quality time outdoors. Heron House features a beautiful walk out deck with an 8 person dining table, large sectional sofa, a large sun lounger, a gas BBQ and of course a fire pit with seating for 8.
For raining nights, the Muskoka Room provides a cozy space to relax and unwind under charming string lights.
Cornhole and Ladder toss help get the fun and competitive juices flowing.
Music is also a must, and so we have outfitted every room with a smart speaker including on the patio.
For those looking to spend some time at the lake, Dwight Beach is located less than 5 minutes from Heron House. The shallow beach stretches for over 150 metres of unsupervised shoreline, dotted with picnic tables and Muskoka chairs to soak up the view in.
With its gentle slope and calm water, Dwight Beach is a great swimming spot for those of all abilities. Take a kayak or canoe out and explore the various inlets along the shore.
There is no shortage of local activities including on site hiking trails, nearby golf courses, Algonquin Park (20 minutes) and of course charming Huntsville with it's shopping and dining amenities.
