If you are considering a fun family getaway or a couples retreat come experience this peaceful cottage. Located in the Heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Country, also known as "Crooked Lake" by the locals, this lakefront cottage is perfect for family vacations and other special occasions, such as girls'/guys' getaways. The lakefront views are spectacular, and there is ample room for relaxing both inside and out.
Situated on the west side of Keuka Lake between Branchport and Hammondsport, the updated cottage is right on the water's edge and boasts 54 feet of lake frontage. The cottage offers breathtaking views of the lake and bluff throughout all seasons. The outside space offers a lakeside covered porch, as well as a stone paver patio for family meals, and a rare lush green lawn . The outdoor living area is second to none with a 700 square foot permanent dock adding 16'x16' additional outdoor lake living space! There is a ladder to enter the water on the side of the dock as well as a shale beach area to enter the water to enjoy a nice canoe ride.
The open floor plan has a nicely equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stovetop, wall oven, microwave oven, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker and breakfast bar.
The home includes a gas fireplace, pine walls and wood floors with carpeting in the bedrooms.
The bathroom includes a tub/shower, sink and toilet. ***Towels are NOT provided.
The first bedroom is a large master with a king bed looking out onto the relaxing water. The second bedroom hosts a queen bed with a set of twin bunks. Both bedrooms have flat screen tv's for those quiet indoor times. Accommodations for 5 with plenty of room to spare. ***Linens are NOT provided.
Your days can be filled with beautiful sunrises, fishing from the dock, a relaxing canoe ride or swim in the lake, or your favorite games inside or out. The convenient location allows many options for day excursions within an hour of the cottage. Evenings are often spent around the campfire discussing exciting plans for the following day!
There are over a dozen award winning wineries and micro-breweries offering samplings of their handcrafted wines, champagnes and beers. Venture out on your own and follow the wine trail, or even book a wine tour.
There are many quaint shops in the Village of Hammondsport with souvenirs, gifts and the perfect antique treasures.
