Our cottage is a small 1 bedroom, 900 square foot home on a private road with a private beach and walk in access to Lake Ontario. Easily accessible by boat to anchor out front during the day. There is a boat launch just down the road that is open and free to the public.
This cottage offers a lot of beach front area for playing in the sand & games. There are some kids sand toys on the porch. You can walk into the lake from the beach easily. There is also a yard on the other side of the house. This space is perfect for kids or adults who just want to relax.
There is no air conditioning in the cottage but there are ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room area. Keeping the doors shut will help keep it cool.
The kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, small coffee maker, pots & pans, dishes & utensils. The fridge does not have an ice maker.
There is a small fire pit for evening fires and s'mores while enjoying the sunset. (wood is not provided)
Cell phone service at the property has improved recently but it is sometimes spotty in the house. If you walk out by the road the service tends to improve.
We do not have cable for the television but there is internet and a Roku for you to log into your tv apps.
