1. Maintaining a good relationship with our neighbors is crucial. Loud music, shouting, and loud profanities are not tolerated at any time. This mostly applies to outdoor activities from May-Sept. Kids being kids—running around and making noise—is completely fine.

We do our best to make as many outdoor amenities available as possible, but access may be limited by current conditions, especially in spring and fall, or during severe weather. This may include the dock, kayaks/SUPs, patio furniture, hammocks, and other outdoor items. Please send us a message before or during your stay if you have any questions about what will be available.
3. Like many Muskoka lakes, Three Mile Lake can occasionally experience late-summer algae blooms (typically late August–October). During these periods, swimming may be discouraged, though paddling and boating are usually unaffected. Our area of the lake has historically been less impacted and later in the season. For current advisories, please refer to the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
4. Muskoka transforms into a magical winter wonderland, full of snowy surprises and ever-changing weather. While a local company regularly plows and shovels after snowfalls, we cannot guarantee the driveway and pathways will always be freshly cleared during your stay. We strive to maintain ideal access and appreciate guests using their best judgment to navigate and enjoy the property during the winter months.
