6 Bedroom Cottage in Huntsville
These 2 cozy cottages are perfect for a family vacation. We are located at the end of a private lane on over 3.5 acres of land- a lot of privacy. We have a neighbour across the river and two down the road. There are many things to do here such as, kayak, fishing, you can dock your boat (smaller size), hiking in the forest, swimming at our private beach, relax on the top deck or on the porch. We have a trampoline and Geometric Climber which is used at guests risk- parent supervision required.
The space
Main Cottage
Located less than 10 minutes from town, this kids friendly cottage has a great private beach with soft sand and shallow water great for kids. On the main floor you will find an open-concept living room, dining room and kitchen open onto a big deck, creating lots of opportunity for family togetherness. The deck has one sofa with two chairs and a dinning set with several comfy dining chairs. Offering the best of both worlds, the long deck off the upper floor has sun most of the day while the lower deck is shaded. Indoors there are two sofas for lounging or watching movies on the retractable large screen TV with Netflix. The main floor powder room and a spacious closet are located near the front entrance. Upstairs you will find very nice four bedrooms. The Master Bedroom comes with a private bathroom and walk in closet. Remaining 3 bedroom comes with own closets and a bathroom located at the hallway. Also there is a spacious patio with four chairs which you can enter from the hallway or from the Master Bedroom.
Small Cottage/Bunkie (PLEASE NOT THIS IS NOT AVAILABLE DURING WINTER MONTHS)
Interior of the cottage is maintained with the open concept kitchen/dining/living area all facing out to the river peaceful views while preparing meals, dining or lounging in the living room. The bedroom with relaxing river view and 3-piece bathroom are just off of the main living area. Upstairs you will find a two twin beds loft. From the leaving room with a specious sofa bed you can enter onto the deck with a barbecue. There is a two kayaks to enjoy for a delightful quiet paddle on the river. There is a 6 X 18 dock which is perfect for fishing or you can bring your own boat. Plenty of parking space to park your boat trailer. End your day by an inviting fire pit to gather around with your favourite drink or to roast a hot dogs or marshmallows over a fire. Please purchase your firewood locally.
