A bright, clean and pet-friendly four-season house on half an acre of concealed land. Over 120 Ft shoreline, no residents but reed field and forest across the lake, making it a tranquil haven for nature lover.
This hideaway is 1.5-hour drive from Toronto and about 15-minute drive to a variety of amenities, including Walmart, McDonald's, Tim Hortons, Canadian Tire, Costco, etc.
The house has 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. We provide bed linens, but please bring your own towels and toiletries.
The space
REEL COMFORT - Our precious waterfront property is on a peninsula at the south end of Chemong Lake. As the property is far away from traffic, it's very quiet. Some people with insomnia sleep sound in our place. The lake is peaceful and overall shallow, with abundance of largemouth bass, rock bass, perch, bluegill, crappie, carp, catfish, etc.
Things to do:
1. Fishing. Bring your fishing gear.
2. Canoeing, kayaking. There are 2 kayaks and 1 canoe for guest use.
3. Boating. Bring your boat.
4. The lake bottom at the property is muddy and weedy, not ideal for swimming. If you peddle out for 15 minutes, you can find better swimming spots around the islands.
3. Ice fishing or cross country skiing in the winter. Bring your ice fishing or skiing gear.
4. Hiking.
5. BBQ, campfire (subject to local fire restrictions).
6. Relaxing, meditating, and enjoying.
Guest access
There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, each with a queen-size bed and one bedroom in the basement with a double bed. We provide bed linens, but please bring your own towels and toiletries.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, fridge, dishwasher, cookware, knives, forks, spoons, chopsticks, bowls, cups, plates, etc. We also provide cooking oil, salt, and pepper.
Other than the storage cabin in the basement, the locked storage room with only outside access and the locked detached garage, guests have all access to the whole property.
Quests can bring maximum 2 well-behaved non-shedding, potty-trained pets.
