Mortimer’s Marina is the closest to the cottage, just 10 minutes away. Both Port Carling and Bala are only a 10 minute car ride where you will find many on and off the water restaurants and quaint shops. Boat the "Big 3" all day from this location!
PROPERTY
ST. HILDA'S ISLAND HIDEAWAY - St. Hilda's Island is quintessential Muskoka – full of charm and tradition. Every day will feel different as you explore your own private island with various paths and points around the 5-acre island to see the sunrise and the sunset. Arrival to the island begins at the boathouse featuring 2 bedrooms and its own living room and kitchen, boat slips, large deck and dock for the family. Meander up a slight incline to the main cottage with its main custom-built furnishings and homey touches throughout. To the left of the main house is a Bunkie with additional bedrooms and a bathroom. The island features 2 sandy beach areas, an abundance of water toys and the sweetest treehouse that is a mini replica of the main cottage. This cottage is made for a multi-generational family vacation!

Large centre island for prep and additional bar seating area for a quick breakfast. Granite countertops throughout the kitchen, that is equipped with stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. To the back is a large laundry room with an extra fridge/freezer and plenty of storage.

Incredible stone wood-burning fireplace, with over stuffed sofas and eye catching antiques. The rustic charm of the room is accentuated with the beamed ceilings and French door to a stunner of a Muskoka room! Note: the house is baby friendly with a baby gate to the upper level.

Located behind the great room, the family room allows a place for those seeking entertainment during their stay. Comfortable sofa and chairs, with another wood burning fireplace, TV with plenty of movies and board games to choose from. Easy access to the Muskoka room.
MUSKOKA ROOM
Running the full length of the house this 3 season room gives the WOW factor to this cottage. This bright cheery room provides additional dining for 8 people, multiple seating areas to curl up in, and opens onto the front lawn with a stunning east facing view of the lake.

A cozy Muskoka space that offers its own private living quarters. The kitchen area is equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Round dining table for 4. The living room features a simple TV, gathering furniture and an unique, 2 sided corner stone fireplace for the chilly nights.
