The Guest House is a recently refurbished self contained studio apartment with a luxury loft design. It is the perfect combination of industrial chic and city comforts which is available to rent all year round.

Living Space with pull out sofabed, television and comfy chair seating.
Comes equipped with air conditioning for the warm summer months and a cozy gas fireplace to keep you warm in the winter.
Kitchen equipped with all the necessities required to ensure a relaxed and pleasant stay: Tassimo coffee/tea machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, convection oven/toaster, bar and seating area. On arrival you will be provided with key essential including tea, coffee,sugar & cream and a few yummy treats too!
Bathroom includes brand new walk in shower and facilities.
Dressing Area - Vintage vanity, hangers and closet space.
Whilst the Guest House is ideally suited for a couple, there is the option for extra sleeping arrangements for children etc in the spare bed and suspended loft mezzanine which holds a queen sized mattress.

Guest Access
Guests will have full access to the Guest House and private deck . Please note the lake is situated across the road there is no direct access to the lake from this side of the road. There is of course plenty of beaches in very close proximity and there is also the historical John R. Homestead which you can access 24/7 which is only a 5 minute walk from our house. There is always a lovely breeze from the lake on your private deck which makes it the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing sunset with some local wine and produce.
Interaction with Guests
Your hosts, George and Donna, will be available to assist with everything during your stay. They are happy to provide advice regarding any sightseeing or restaurant recommendations in the local area. You may however be looking for some peace and quiet during your stay in which case you can be assured a private retreat should you so choose.
We have a little dog who's name is Buddy. He lives in the main house and is very quiet and friendly. Chances are you won't ever see him , but if you do please know he is very sweet and loves attention.

Located on the 42nd parallel, the Guest House (Along the 42nd) shares the same latitude as northern California and Southern Spain. Our winters are probably the mildest in the country and our summers are long and lingering.
This region is renowned for its local crops and farming! Famous for its tomatoes, fruit and wine. (Dotted all over the area including a short walk-cycle ride away!)
