This lower level suite offers a true kootenay experience where you are immersed in nature.
Enjoy being close to wildlife as you look out your windows into the forest, you may see whitetail deer, black bears, coyotes and an array of beautiful birds, you’ll wake up to a chorus of birds and in the evening you can listen to the owls, frogs and crickets it is a birders delight!

The home is at the trail head and only minutes to walk to redfish creek here on the East end of Long Beach road on Nelson's
North Shore.
This tranquil nature walk has access to a refreshing swimming hole on the hot summer days
The suite is central to a multitude of adventure and activities, 22km from Nelson's downtown.
It is a 10 minute drive to Ainsworth hot springs.
8km from the Kootenay Lake Ferry landing and 5 minutes to; Kokanee creek provincial park and Kokanee zip lines & Mountain Biking park. This provincial park offers a full boat launch and beautiful public beaches with showers and washroom facilities.
Nelson's mountain for lift access and backcountry skiing is Whitewater; which is a 45km drive.
If you leave the suite by 8 am you'll arrive with plenty of time to find parking and a day ticket and be in line for the first chair of the day.
You can enjoy some of the best powder skiing the Kootenays, BC and Canada has to offer!
Being so central to Kaslo, Nelson and close to Balfour there is plenty of golf to enjoy, amazing backcountry to explore, cave adventures and incredible mountain and lake scenery along with windy roads that are very attractive to people who love to ride motorcycles.

With Balfour and the Kootenay Ferry only minutes away; the grey creek pass is an awesome adventure for those who ride enduros or dirt bikes.
We are located close to Toad rock motorcycle campground so if you're with a group of bikers stopping there for the night but you prefer the quiet b&b experience for a night we are only 15km from the campground.
