In the heart of nature and leaning against a large land of the Crown (where you will find marked trails) is this charming chalet fully equipped to receive your little family or your friends. Spa, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, the space bordering the forest is so well laid out that you will want to spend your days there! Summer and winter, you can enjoy the proximity of outdoor activities in St-Donat (15 minutes) and its amenities. At the Rossignol, you will instantly feel at home! This chalet is fully equipped and has two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the other with a Double bed. It has been designed so that all the space is used to its full potential. You will have on one side an open area including the kitchen, the dining room and the living room and on the other the bedrooms which are twins separated by the entrance hall and the bathroom. Wood is omnipresent in all rooms and inspires relaxation and letting go. To note : Wood is not included. You will need to bring your own wood for both fireplaces, indoor and outdoor. A standing hammock is installed outside (available in season only) to better enhance your moments of relaxation. Wifi: despite the fastest possible link, sometimes online videos are slower. So, it is fine for everyday use, but for remote work you will have to be patient! The chalet is at the entire disposal of travelers. Nearby attractions: Mont Ouareau trail This trail stretches from Lac Ouareau to Lac Archambault, passing through Lac Lemieux. From the west, the start is on Chemin Wall in the Archambault valley, an area affected by logging a few years ago. The trail then climbs gently to a first summit and descends to Lac Lemieux, bypassing its southern part. The climb to the top of Mont Ouareau is arduous but short. Its summit rises to an altitude of 685 m and offers a vast panorama. On the other side of the mountain, you will have a view of Lake Ouareau, with an area of ??1,744 hectares. Ouareau Forest Regional Park Covering just over 150 km², the Ouareau Forest Regional Park offers a vast territory for outdoor enthusiasts. It is accessed from the following sectors: Massif, Grande-Jetée, Grande-Vallée, Suspension Bridge and Foothills. The park has a mountain range incorporating a network of multifunctional trails (walking, cycling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing) of 120 km. Municipal beach of St-Donat Right in the heart of the village of Saint-Donat, on the shores of Lake Archambault and surrounded by the mountains, the Parc des Pionniers is the ideal place to picnic and enjoy a beautiful day outdoors. Play modules for children, supervised beach, start of a mountain bike and hiking trail, boat launch, BBQ and large parking lot.
