Our Cypress cottage located at Oceanside Village Resort is one of Parksville’s newest resorts located on a breathtaking 15 acre property, adjacent to the majestic old-growth forests of Rathtrevor Provincial Park, steps away from endless sandy beach and only a few minutes drive to downtown Parksville.
Nestled among the trees, our two bedroom, loft and two full bathroom cottage which sleeps up to 6 offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cottage has all the amenities of home with a fully equipped kitchen, 6 full size appliances including washer/dryer, all linens, 3 TV’s/DVD, field stone gas fireplace, front and back deck with a BBQ and patio furniture.
Next door to us you will find the ever popular Riptide Lagoon Adventure Park offering two, 18 hole mini golf courses situated in a theme park, laser tag bumper cars, arcade and a variety of tasty treats. Within a short distance of the resort, the surrounding area is appealing to the outdoors type who will find riverside hiking, mountain biking trails, strolling through the old growth trees at Cathedral Grove or meandering through the many shops at the ever popular Coombs Country Market.
The towns of Uclulet and Tofino are a lovely 3 hour drive over to the West Coast of Vancouver Island where you can enjoy whale/wild life watching, surfing or salmon fishing, as well as the ever popular Mt. Washington, which is one hour north from pillow top to powder top during the winter months.
