The space
We are committed to providing a great experience to our renters and their pets which is why we don't charge extra as we fully understand that pets are family.
***Important things to note about our home***
1) We are pet friendly! Yes, this means you can bring your dog! No, we do not charge an extra fee or deposit. We believe pets are family and should be able to come on vacation! :)
2) We include linens on the beds, towels, an outdoor firepit, propane fireplace, TV and fast wifi for streaming.
3) We do have A/C in the living room but it is not central. We have plenty of fans and are very shaded and the cottage remains quite comfortable.
4) We are not a lake front property. We are down the street from the lake and a less than 2 minute drive from the nearest of the 4 beach areas and a 15 minute walk to the nearest pool featured in the community.
5) Arrowhead Lake is a private, gated, secure neighborhood with many amenities you can utilize during your stay including beach areas, boat rental shack, pools (outdoor so summer only), and lodge with game room and gym.

COMMUNITY FEES (mandatory, not included in booking price):
Arrowhead Lake Community Fees (to be paid separately online 1+ days prior to arrival):
1) Temporary membership:
a) IN SEASON (May 24 to Sept 2): $8.50 per person, per day. or $42.50 per
person, per week.
b) OFF SEASON (Sept 3 to May 23): $2 per person, per day.
c) Children under 6 are free
2) Gate Card: $20 per vehicle, per stay
3) Administration: $20 one time, per stay (Non-refundable)
4) Late fee (for registrations submitted within 3 days of arrival date): $100
NOTE: All fees must be paid at least 3+ days prior to arrival to avoid late fee. Community does not accept registrations/payments less than 1 day prior to arrival.
We will collect following info to be submitted to community with payment: number of guests and kids, names of every driver, full car info and guest names.
Upon arrival, you will have to go to Rental Office to obtain your gate cards. Office open 10am-10pm. Let us know ahead of time if you plan to arrive after 10pm.
Temporary Membership grants access to all community facilities and events, as well as access to pools, lakes, beaches, playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, to Community Lodge with 3 fireplaces, library, fitness room (gym), game rooms and banquet hall.
Note: Pools are open starting Memorial Day weekend, until Labor Day.
TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP FEE IS REQUIRED WHETHER AMENITIES/FACILITIES ARE OPEN/USED OR NOT.
Community amenities are owned and operated by Arrowhead Lake Community Association. Some amenities are seasonal (pools, beaches, rental shack etc) or maybe closed due to staffing, weather, maintenance or other reasons out of our control. Please double check with us on status of specific amenity.
7) Basement/laundry room access through bilco doors on side of house. There is no direct access, guests must walk outside around the side of the house for entry to laundry room.
NO parties or events allowed
We include linens on the beds, towels, propane fireplace, TV with cable and Wi-Fi for streaming. We enjoy sharing our home with guests and hope to host you!
The kitchen comes fully stocked for your cooking needs. There is a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, etc.
The bedrooms feature one queen size bed and one full size, end tables, and closet space.
We have baseboard heat and fans/AC for the summer months.
The basement holds a washer and dryer for your laundry needs.
On the front porch there is a 4 person outdoor dining table and a two person porch rocker.
The living room features a propane burning fireplace.
Air mattress available in the hall closet.
The cottage must be left the way you found it. All garbage and recycling must be brought to the community trash and recycling area located behind the Welcome Center, no trash or recycle pick-up is provided.
Access to the home is through the front sliding door. The key is located in the lockbox on the handle and code will be sent after booking. We will provide our phone numbers for easy texting or calling for questions or problems.
The community offers 3 pools, 4 beaches, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, and a gym and game room which you have access to. If you plan on using the pool or going in the lake, you must have an Arrowhead Lake wristband on.
Fishing Licenses are available to be purchased through Arrowhead Lake’s Member Services Department.
Rental Shack - Open daily to rent row boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing equipment, bicycles, and sports equipment. Cash only!

Also, there is no dishwasher in the house, all dishes MUST be washed and put away prior to departure or there may be an additional $35 cleaning fee.
Pools open for the weekends starting Memorial Day Weekend and open daily the third week of June.
