Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Beautiful room in a stunning location. Glorious bedlinen, fluffy towels, freestanding twin ended bath, breakfast delivered to your room at a time of your choice. This place should be 10 out of 10 but it just misses on too many little things. It seems like a new venture from new hosts who will improve and with a few tweaks it could be perfect. I loved our stay but . . . The lavatory is open to the room, not very romantic! Even a folding freestanding screen would help, a fitted folding door even better. Only 2 sachets of gel for 2 people to wash hands bathe etc. Kettle in room is fabulous but another miss as 1 sachet of sugar provided for 2 people. No bedside tables, it's a high bed and a long way down to reach phone, water etc. TV remote not present and when host found it elsewhere in building it didn't work. She did try, changed batteries, offered us another TV but we didn't bother. Rubbish still in bin from previous guests. All very minor(except open wc) but all things that should have been checked before we arrived. So very good but needs improvement

Negative: Really wanted to rate this higher as loved the place but just needs a little more attention to detail.
