The space
✧ The chalet has 4 bedrooms. The first on the ground floor offers a queen bed, the second is open on the mezzanine and contains a double bed, the third contains 2 double bunk beds and the fourth in the basement contains two single bunk beds.
✧ The living room has a large sectional, as well as a television with Xbox and the wood-burning fireplace. The adjacent dining table can accommodate 8 guests for your family meals.
✧ The kitchen is fully equipped to allow you to cook your meals like at home. This contains the dishes, utensils, pots and pans, as well as essentials (salt, pepper, oil, garbage bags, etc.).
✧ There is a bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom on the mezzanine containing a bath-shower as well as a second full bathroom with shower on the ground floor.
✧ From the basement, the sliding door leads directly to the spa, which is open year round. On the ground there is also a fire area where you can make campfires. A small path leads to our private beach on Petit Lac Gérard, one minute from the chalet.

CATS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. We accept a maximum of 1 dog under certain strict conditions and only with our authorization. We are animal lovers but have had bad experiences in the past with owners who disrespect our property, thank you for your understanding.

๏ We do not accept young dogs under 1 year old.
๏ Your dog must be "clean", must not climb on furniture and access bedrooms at all times.
๏ Your dog must not cause noise nuisance for the neighbors.

We have a TV in the unit but do not offer cable channel. There is an Xbox if you want to watch DVDs or connect to your Netflix account.
* FIREPLACE / LOGS *
There is an outdoor fire pit at your disposal. I will provide you with some logs for your stay. If you want more, you can buy some near the chalet, I will send you the addresses before your stay.
The fire pit is not accessible from November until April.

Summary: We stayed at this property for a few nights and overall found it reasonably comfortable. However, a persistent issue significantly affected our experience. From the start, there was a constant dripping sound—like water falling into a bucket—coming from a locked mechanical room in the basement. This made both basement bedrooms virtually unusable at night due to the noise, which was surprisingly loud and difficult to ignore.Unfortunately, things escalated on the last night when a pump in that same locked room began cycling on and off around 3 a.m. for more than half an hour. The intermittent mechanical noise was disruptive enough to wake up everyone in the house.While the rest of the property was OK, the basement noise made it hard to relax or get restful sleep. If this issue is resolved, it could be a good choice for future stays. Until then, light sleepers beware.
