Welcome to Blue Sky Lodge! Located directly above the town and Golden Skybridge, our new, spacious, custom built, 3 story lodge boasts magnificent views of the Columbia valley and Kicking Horse Ski Resort. We’re a 5 min drive to town and a short walk to the Skybridge across the road. Head out and explore Golden's year-round activities. At the end of the day, check out our fire pit overlooking the orchard! INSIDE: Our custom built lodge combines a relaxed forest setting with modern conveniences in a great location very close to town. With 5 bedrooms, 2 dining areas, a large sectional couch, and a gourmet kitchen with an island, you’ll have plenty of room for your guests. Additional features: -electric fireplace -kids bedroom, high chair, and pack ’n play crib available for use -dining area that seats 8 people, with an additional table in the kitchen that seats 6 -spacious kitchen with granite countertops and all your kitchen essentials -Wi-fi with 8.5 Mbps -soundproofed between the lower and upper (1 bedroom) suite by adding extra insulation and a sound barrier. OUTSIDE: -large fire pit shared with the upstairs suite -covered patio with a BBQ and seating area on main floor -balcony with seating from the master bedroom -ample parking with room for trailers -private entrance to the suite. You’ll have access to our trails to hike and explore the property. Hike to our canyon/adventure park viewpoint and take in the sights. The fire pit is shared with the smaller upstairs suite. Apart from that, everything else will be private. Walk or bike to the Skybridge, and bike or drive to town. -The owners live on the property, and will be available for emergencies/assistance if needed. -Check in 4pm -Check out 11am -Ask us if our upper suite is available to add 4 more guests to your booking. -Check out the "Tourism Golden" website for all the local activities and events happening -We do have friendly dogs on the property.
