Upon entering the front door of the main house, you will find a well-appointed living room with a gas fireplace. An open floorplan leads to the dining room, large kitchen with bar seating, and an expansive deck overlooking the lake.
The main level has a master bedroom with a full bath including a Jacuzzi tub, and access to the outdoor deck. There is also a second bedroom and a half bath. The lower level is ideal for a second family if you are traveling with two. It includes two bedrooms each with full baths, a living room, bar area with mini-kitchen, and its own private entrance via a paved path which also leads to a hot tub.
At the lakefront, the rustic guest cabin is yours to enjoy! A second kitchen to the Bonskeid Estate, full bath and two additional sleeping lofts allow you to enjoy scenic Seneca Lake just feet from the water's edge. The walk-in beach plus private dock is ideal for launching the provided canoe, three kayaks, and four standup paddle boards. In the evening, gather around the fire pit and watch the moon rise.
Bonskeid Estate is right in the heart of wine country, minutes from a variety of unique dining experiences including Tabora Farm and Winery, F.L.X. Winery and Belhurst Castle. Ten minutes to the south is downtown Watkins Glen with dining and shopping, “The Glen” automobile racetrack, and Watkins Glen State Park where you can hike the gorge trail. Twenty minutes to the north is Geneva's Spray ground for the children, and the Finger Lakes Visitor Welcome Center and Taste NY Market.
Note: 4 Wheel or All Wheel Drive Vehicles Are Recommended in winter. Paved road is plowed when needed.
