Step into this cozy two bedroom, two bath lakefront cabin where comfort, serenity, and Northern Michigan fun await. Located on Heart Lake just minutes south of Gaylord, this retreat offers the perfect blend of cozy living and outdoor adventure.

This cabin sleeps up to eight guests comfortably ( 2 queens, 1 full , 1 twin, 1 full size fold down futon ) and offers 100 feet of sandy frontage along Heart Lake, a 63 acre all sports lake known for its crystal clear waters. The open layout provides lake views from the living room, kitchen, and dining area, creating the perfect backdrop for relaxation and connection. We also provide a Pack and Play for your convenience. It offers a safe, baby friendly space that can be used as a travel crib, bassinet, or changing area. It folds down easily, so you can store it out of the way when not in use and enjoy a little extra peace of mind while you relax and enjoy your vacation.

You will enter into a an open living space that immediately feels like home. Large windows overlook the lake, filling the space with natural light and beautiful views. Settle into the comfortable seating area to read a book, play games, or enjoy a cozy night by the fireplace. We also have a fold down futon for extra sleeping space in this area.
•Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, including a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, utensils, and dinnerware. The dining table seats four guests comfortably. Whether you are preparing breakfast before heading out on the water or gathering for a home-m cooked dinner, this space makes it easy to share meals and conversation together.

•Primary Bedroom The primary bedroom offers a relaxing retreat with a comfortable queen bed, soft linens, and includes an attached private bathroom with a shower and plenty of storage space for your stay.
•Second Bedroom The second bedroom is perfect for families or groups, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for up to four guests. (1 Queen, bunk bed of 1 full & 1 twin). It provides easy access to the second full bathroom and includes fresh linens and cozy touches that make it feel like home. The closet in this bedroom is where the futon sheets are located along with the Pack n Play!

Both bathrooms are clean, bright, and fully stocked with towels and basic toiletries. Both are walk in showers.

Enjoy 100 feet of sandy lake frontage just steps from the cabin. The gentle slope to the shore makes it perfect for swimming, ice fishing, or launching a kayak or paddleboard. Spend your afternoons fishing, floating, or relaxing on the dock as the sun sparkles on the water. If you plan to bring or rent a boat, there is a private dock right on the shoreline for you to use and enjoy.
In the evening, gather around the lakeside fire pit to toast marshmallows and share stories under the stars. Outdoor seating and a charcoal grill (charcoal not provided) are available for lakeside meals or simply lounging with your morning coffee.
Bonus Feature: The Pole Barn Hangout
Your stay now includes full access to our newly converted pole barn! Located just down the driveway, it’s the perfect spot for parents to relax and keep the fun going after the kids have gone to bed.
This 32' x 24' space features 14-foot and 8-foot doors, a bar area with cafe lights to set the mood, a TV for entertainment, and an electric dartboard. You can also enjoy a game of cornhole with our custom boards featuring designs from Short’s Brewing Company.
*Winter Guests: If you are looking to bring your snowmobiles, please reach out ahead of time to coordinate indoor storage. We just ask that you use sled dollies to ensure the concrete floors do not get scratched (additional fee included).*

Heart Lake is a 63 acre all sports lake known for its clear water and sandy bottom, making it ideal for swimming and boating. You can fish right off the dock for bass, perch, and trout or spend the day exploring nearby trails and attractions in Gaylord.
In the fall, the vibrant colors reflect beautifully on the lake and in the winter you can enjoy snowmobiling, skiing, or ice fishing right from the property.
