Our large family friendly, two bedroom plus hide-a-bed, ground floor suite is within a 20 minute walk to Victoria General Hospital and Eagle Creek Village. 17 minutes drive to downtown Victoria and 10 minutes drive to Langford.
The space
Our family friendly and safe fully furnished 2 bedroom suite is only a 10 minute drive to Langford with quick and easy access to the Trans-Canada highway, to get Downtown or convenient bus routes and cycles lanes. One parking spot is available for the suite.
The living room has a 50inch smart TV, with a pull out king size sofa bed. Gorgeous view and great lighting from the oversized windows.
The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with a large dresser, large mirrored closet, a window overlooking the patio and backyard as well as a private bathroom with a separate walk-in shower and bathtub.
The second bedroom includes a single bed with closet space and a desk that can be requested upon booking as a work station.
The light kitchen cabinets creates more open space in the kitchen, which is fully equipped with an electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. The open plan concept allows you to use the kitchen whilst still keeping in the conversation going during mealtimes at the dining area.
Adjacent to the dining table are patio doors that open to a short path along the side of the house to a private patio with garden furniture and garden. The entire ground floor suite is at your disposal and includes one parking spot in n the cul-de-sac. Please note only one spot is available for parking.
A gorgeous gas fireplace sits between the dining area and lounge that warms the suite up quickly and creates a cozy atmosphere on those cooler, wet or windy Victoria evenings.
This suite includes laundry facilities should you need to use them during your stay.
Located within minutes of the Trans-Canada highway for access to downtown Victoria (20 minutes), the airport (25 minutes), Swartz Bay ferry terminal (30 minutes) and a major bus route, this suite is ideal for a great getaway. If you prefer to shop, Westshore Mall, Tillicum Mall or UpTown can cover those bases for you too. Camosun Interurban campus is under 3km away and Royal Roads University is 6.5 km. The Galloping Goose provides great bicycle access or walking paths to both Downtown or Langford to Sooke.
Victoria General Hospital is a 5 minute drive away along with Eagle Creek Village, where you'll find coffee shops (Starbucks and Tom Horton's), Quality Foods grocery store and general shopping area. Slightly further along is a locals hiking and swimming hot spot known as Thetis Lake. Stop by for breathtaking scenery and tranquility, hang out on the beach or stop to cool off for a swim. If you're looking for some nearby eateries, the Crooked Goose Bistro and Cherries Bistro are about a 5 minute drive. Knockan Hill and Knockan Hill Park are close by if you like to wander through the neighbourhood.
If you want to head downtown, you can walk around the Inner Harbour, The Fairmont Empress, Royal BC Museum, BC Legislative Buildings, Fan Tan Alley in China Town, The Bug Zoo, Miniature World, Dallas Road, Ogden Point, Craigdarroch Castle, Beacon Hill Park and more.
Approximately 20 minutes drive is a great day trip out to Butchart Gardens or Butterfly Gardens, both in Brentwood Bay.
